Marvel's Mystery 'Latverian Witch' Costume Just Became the Talk of Comic-Con, and Halloween Season

A green-robed, silver-masked figure on the Avengers: Doomsday display floor at San Diego Comic-Con 2026 has fans buzzing, and it is already shaping up to be one of the year's most build-worthy mystery costumes.

A Whole Rack of Doomsday Looks on the Floor

Marvel Studios used its San Diego Comic-Con 2026 exhibit to give fans an up-close look at costumes from Avengers: Doomsday well before the film's December debut. The Cyclops suit in particular drew a lot of attention for its blue armored panels, bright yellow gloves, boots, and shoulder trim, plus a textured X pattern woven into the chest piece that comic readers have wanted in live action for years. Add the ruby-quartz visor and an X-Men emblem on the belt, and it is a costume that translates cleanly for anyone building a screen-accurate rig at home.

Marvel also unveiled its first official Sentinel head for the franchise, a detail that has less to do with Halloween shopping and more to do with just how deep this movie is leaning into X-Men mythology alongside its Avengers cast.

Then Came the Green Robes

The costume nobody had on their bingo card sat off to the side of the main hero lineup: a figure in flowing green robes down to the floor, fastened with metallic clasps, a hooded cloak partially covering a silver face mask, and a belt with a diamond-shaped silver buckle.
